Metaphor

The American Revolution was a big a game of chess. Everyone tried to to kill or take out the enemy. And king was the one everyone tried to protect, and follow. The kings were the one who never move. They were afraid that if they moved they would have been killed. Once someone is out of the game, they can never come back, and they are just giving the other person a bigger opportunity to win.
